Vankel VK7000 dissolution apparatus
The Vankel VK7000 is designed for dissolution testing of a variety of pharmaceutical compounds such as tablets, capsules, transdermal patches, and membranes. With multiple programmable operating parameters and a front display that shows information on spindle speed, elapsed run time, and bath temperature, among others, the VK7000 provides both flexibility and automation. Programmable settings include spindle speed, test length, vessel temperature, and delayed test start time. The dosage deliver module can be programmed for both simultaneous and sequential settings. The AutoTemp program measures and records the temperature of the medium inside each individual vessel and readings can be taken before, after, and during a run. This unit is provided with a Neslab heater.
Drug dissolution testing is routinely used in the pharmaceutical industry to provide in vitro drug release information for both quality control purposes to assess batch-to-batch consistency of solid oral dosage forms such as tablets, and in drug development to predict in vivo drug release profiles.
All of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
