Item 0883QQ BIO CAB - Labconco Purifier Logic+ Total Exhaust Biological Safety Cabinet
Labconco Purifier Logic+ Total Exhaust Biological Safety Cabinet
This Labconco Purifier Logic+ total exhaust bio safety cabinet is a Class II Type B2 model that is widely used in toxicology laboratories and other applications in which chemical effluent is present and clean air is essential. This model provides personnel, product and environmental protection from hazardous particulates such as agents that require Biosafety Level 1, 2 or 3 containment. Appropriate applications include work with antineoplastic drugs, genetic material, asbestos and additional substances that generate hazardous airborne particulates. Designed to be hard ducted, total exhaust bio safety cabinets recirculate 0% air, as the exhausted air is pulled through a dedicated exhaust duct into the facility exhaust system. (In other words, hard ducted to outside the facility, similar to a chemical fume hood.)

During operation, room air is drawn into the top of the cabinet and through a supply HEPA filter. This filtered air flows downward through the work area. Room air is also drawn into the inlet grille located at the work access opening. All of the contaminated air passes through the exhaust HEPA filter. A dedicated exhaust system and remote blower discharge 100% of the filtered exhaust air from the laboratory. Since none of the air is recirculated, these biohazard cabinets may be used for work with agents treated with volatile toxic chemicals and radionuclides.
This cabinet boasts an adaptive ergonomic design and efficient airflow management system. Other features include an electronically commutated motor, CAP Technology airflow monitoring system, Contain-Air Negative Pressure channel, LCD display and information center with “filter life remaining” bar graph, and an intrinsically safe negative pressure design.
All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet to ensure that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to ensure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
