Laboratory Casework

American Instrument Exchange stocks a wide range of painted steel base cabinets available in various widths and drawer/door configurations. Our casework is primarily constructed of painted steel which provides longevity and the durability needed when working in busy lab environment.

Standard lab casework measures approximately 22” front to back and 35” high. (30” high or “desk height” casework may also be available. Please call or email for more info.) Epoxy work surface (sold separately) measures 1” high and approximately 30” front to back. Casework is typically installed with the rear about 6” from the wall. Work surface is then laid on top with a 1” or 2” overhang in the front and about a 6” overhang in the back. This allows for plumbing and wiring to be installed along walls behind the cabinetry.

We clean all casework thoroughly, remove coving and adhesives, make sure that all handles are securely fastened, and check the sliders on all drawers to make sure that the furniture will function properly after they are installed in customers’ labs.

We price casework based on linear footage. Our supply of casework is constantly changing so please call or email for availability.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been cleaned.
