The Beckman Avanti 30 is a high speed centrifuge with the power of a floor model centrifuge but the footprint of a personal benchtop unit and can be used in a variety of applications for separation, including cells, nucleic acid precipitations, DNA mini-preps, protein precipitations, phase extractions, spin columns, subcellular fractions, and gradient separations, among others. The control panel is simple to use and intuitive, almost eliminating the learning curve for new users. The Beckman Avanti 30 has speed settings in 100 rpm increments. With a flexible drive shaft that helps with drive imbalances and imbalance alert diagnostics, the Avanti 30’s safety features protect the centrifuge itself as well as your lab and employees.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
