The Beckman Allegra 64R provides the performance of a floor model centrifuge with the space saving benefits of a benchtop. The Allegra 64R is compatible with over a dozen rotors and can spin tubes from 0.25mL up to 85mL. This centrifuge is intended for the high speed separation of human samples, including blood and other bodily fluids, as well as for processing, analysis, and in vitro diagnostic testing. It can also be used for cell gradient spins, nucleic acid precipitations, DNA mini-preps, protein precipitations, phase extractions, and subcellular fraction pelleting. The control panel displays speed, RCF, run time, temperature, and accel/decel rates.

This Beckman Allegra 64R is being sold with a H6002 Biosafe bowl rotor. Other rotors may be in stock; please call or email us for availability.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned.  If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
