Savant SC250 DDA Speed Vac Plus

  • Heavy duty four-place universal rotor included
  • 90 day warranty

The Savant SC250 DDA concentrator gives you flexible, dependable and speedy batch processing of samples and can be used with nearly every solvent. The combination of centrifugal action and a vacuum setting promotes the evaporation of solvents, while maintaining the sample and preventing foaming and bumping. With the addition of chamber heat with infrared heater lamps, the evaporation process concentratoris sped up. The concentrator bowl is treated with Teflon for chemical resistance, the refrigerated solvent trap recovers most of your solvent used, and the enlarged vacuum pump reduces overall run times.

The Savant SC250 DDA concentrator can be used in combinatorial drug discovery due to its outstanding solvent compatibility. This Savant SC250 DDA comes with a four place rotor, enlarged vacuum port, infared heater lamps, heated glass cover, and dual digital vacuum gauges. The Teflon-coated Vapor Path provides superior chemical resistance while the enlarged vacuum port accelerates the evaporative process and reduces overall run times.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
