Genevac HT-4X centrifugal evaporator

  • Built in dual chamber cold trap
  • Compatible oil free scroll pump may be available; call for more info
  • 90 day warranty

The Genevac HT-4X is a high performance centrifugal evaporator. This benchtop unit features four positions and is popular in drug discovery laboratories that require high-throughput. The Genevac HT-4X provides sophisticated controls for efficient, large capacity sample processing. The HT-4X features an embedded PC and full color screen. Solid-state case heaters and CoolHeat radiant lamps heat the chamber and samples. The control of chamber, sample holder and sample temperature, vacuum ramping rate, chamber pressure, rotor speed and run time are all handled by an embedded PC. Additionally, an 85g out-of-balance capability and safety cut-out along with auto-shut down for walk away operation increase safety for users and environment. The HT-4X is corrosion proof against trifluoracetic acid and other corrosive vapors.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
