The Labconco XPert Weigh box (catalog number 5220300) is an economical model that features a liner of one-piece molded medium-density polyethylene. The chamber is protected by a ¼” thick safety glass viewing window. The transfer chamber has an inner diameter of 11” and is 12” long with an upward pivoting door. The Labconco XPert Weigh box also features inlet and outlet HEPA filters that help provide a leak-tight physical barrier to protect the operator from hazardous airborne particulates and powders (99.99% efficiency on 0.3µm particulates). An antistatic ionizer fan circulates ionized air inside the box to reduce static charge. Labconco's XPert Boxes allow the operator to work with hazardous airborne particulates or powders. They can also be used for cleanroom applications with materials sensitive to airborne particulates and requiring ISO Class 3 conditions. These boxes have use in pharmaceutical research, nanotechnology and biochemistry. Microorganisms, low-level radiochemicals, chemical carcinogens and asbestos may also be used in these boxes.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
