This general purpose, 6’ wide Mott chemical fume hood is designed to meet most laboratory Constant Air Volume (CAV) or Variable Air Volume (VAV) requirements. This unit has a vertical rising sash and an automatic compensating upper by-pass. The corner posts pre-punched to accept a maximum of 5 plumbing fittings per post and there is a removable interior access panel in each side wall, as well as exterior removable side panels. The sash is vertical raising only and is constructed with a chain and sprocket pulley system.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians inspect all fume hoods to make sure that the baffles are present and intact, the interior lights are functioning, and that the sash is intact and runs smoothly on the tracks along with the counterweights. We can also provide information on the fixtures installed on each hood. Please note that we do not provide blower motors with fume hood sales. For more information on blower motor selection please feel free to call or email us; we recommend speaking with an HVAC specialist regarding your particular motor needs..               

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
