Paramount Ductless Enclosures are self-contained workstations, also known as ductless fume hoods, that use carbon filters to rid the laboratory of annoying or unsafe concentrations of organic solvents, formaldehyde, acid gases, or ammonia. Unlike traditional fume hoods, they require no ducting so they can be moved from lab to lab. Paramount Ductless Enclosures are capable of using both carbon and 99.99% efficient HEPA filters for removing gaseous and particulate contaminants. Filters must be acquired directly from Labconco.

The Paramount Ductless Enclosure features a control panel has an illuminated color-coded readout for filter condition, letting you know when the time comes to replace the filter; digital display of airflow status;  touchpad control of enclosure operation; ergonomic angled sash; tempered safety glass sash and sides; epoxy-coated aluminum frame; epoxy work surface; and a slotted rear baffle that promotes horizontal laminar airflow to ensure vapors and fumes are drawn to the back of the enclosure without turbulence that could case lack of containment.

Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
