The NuAire NU8700 CO2 dual chamber incubator provides two precise temperature controlled chambers with HEPA filtration for optimum storage of embryos, gametes and animal tissues. The microcomputer based control system monitors and controls the temperature, humidity and CO2 levels independently in each chamber. The large 20 gallon water jacket is an ideal heat sink for precise temperature control of +/- 0.2°C at 37°C. The chamber temperature ranges are 5°C above ambient to 55°C. CO2 can be injected and maintained between 0 and 20%. Humidity is monitored using a solid state capacitance sensor and displayed between 10% and 95%. Humidity control is achieved through evaporation from a water reservoir placed within the autoflow chamber.
The stainless steel chamber interior has rounded corners and removable shelves and brackets for easy cleaning while the closed loop HEPA filtration system ensures a high level of cleanliness and sterility for the stored samples.
Each chamber has internal dimensions of 25.5 inches height x 22.0 inches width x 20.5 inches depth. Electrical requirements are 115 VAC 60Hz 10 amps.
All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. We test CO2 incubators using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts, as well as using a Fyrite indicator to measure CO2 levels in the chamber. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
