Typical applications for the BioTek ELx808 absorbance microplate reader include ELISA, Enzyme kinetics, endotoxin assays, cell growth studies, cytotoxicity, and protein assays. The BioTek ELx808 is configured for 96-well plates, 380 to 900nm wavelength range and shaking. Read modes are end point, kinetic, and linear well scanning and the shaking is linear. Fast kinetic measurements in intervals as short as 6 seconds with multiple kinetic analysis options.  Superior optical design incorporates staggered optics to eliminate channel-to-channel cross-talk. The ELx808 includes BioTek’s 4-Zone incubator design, which provides stability for temperature sensitive assays like endotoxin analysis and long-term bacteria and yeast growth studies.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned.  Our technicians will power this up and cycle through the menus to ensure that it is in general functional condition, but are unable to test it further.
