The Bertin Precellys 24 is designed to grind and homogenize a wide range of biological samples and can be used in BSL3 laboratories as well as in many other applications requiring daily use of a robust homogenizer such as DNA/RNA analysis, PCR, electrophoresis, and liquid chromatography, among others. The Bertin Precellys 24 accepts up to 24 biological samples of soft or hard tissue, including animal and human tissue, microorganisms, and plant tissue. The Bertin Precellys 24 can simultaneously agitate tubes with biological samples of up to 7mL and features an easy tube loading system that automatically blocks the grinding tubes during operation. The figure-8 multidirectional shaking motion gives high energy to the grinding beads resulting in fast throughput, with typical homogenization time of around 30 seconds.

This model includes the Cryolys cooling module. Compatible with both dry ice and liquid nitrogen, the Cryolys cools down samples before, during and after homogenization.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
