The Eppendorf 5417R is one of the most popular refrigerated micro centrifuges that we carry. Powerful yet compact. Inexpensive yet reliable. The Eppendorf 5417R has a low profile design which makes changing rotors easy and a low noise level to help reduce noise pollution and keep your lab nice and quiet. An automatic rotor recognition program and imbalance detection mechanism cuts risk of operator error and improves safety. For low temperature applications, the Eppendorf 5417R features a FastTemp function for fastest pre-cooling and maximum temperature accuracy along with standby cooling to maintain temperature when the centrifuge is not in use in between runs. This centrifuge also has a soft brake feature to protect delicate samples.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned.  If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
