The Eppendorf 5702 is a benchtop centrifuge design for use in a wide range of settings and applications, most notably as an economical option for clinical and cell culture labs. Rotors may be available; please call or email for pricing and availability. The Eppendorf 5702 features a small footprint and low-access height, allowing it to fit into any lab without taking up inordinate bench space. The control panel is intuitive and easy-to-operate with a digital display and control knobs. Other features include a brushless induction motor; digital display of rpm, RCF, and time; rpm to RCF conversion; a separate short spin button; and audible alarm at end of run. Time and speed parameters can be locked to avoid unintentional changes from occurring. Typical applications include tissue culture, blood separations, phenol chloroform extractions, cell harvesting, and standard low-speed applications.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
