The Buchi R-210 rotary evaporator “rotavapor” system includes the R-210 tower, V-850 vacuum controller, B-491 heating bath, and V-700 vacuum pump. The Buchi R-210 rotavapor features a display of vapor temperature and rotation speed for precise monitoring as well as increased reproducibility. Additionally, the continuous vapor duct prevents cross contamination. Rotation speeds are adjustable from 20 to 280rpm.

The evaporation of solvents is a routine process widely performed in the laboratory, so it’s important to select a rotary evaporator that offers reliable results, comfortable operation, and customizable assemblies. The Buchi R-210 provides accurate, consistent results and longevity along with comfortable operation with an ergonomic electric lift.

The Buchi B-491 heating bath can be used as either a water bath to 100°C or oil heating bath to 180°C. Simple knob controls allow for temperature setting as well as selection between water and oil function. The B-491 can accept flasks up to 4L.

The Buchi V-850 vacuum controller are easy-to-operate units equipped with a single control knob and a large graphic display screen with intuitive menu guidance and six selectable language options. They feature a solvent database, a timer function for process termination, and a LabVac function for control of laboratory vacuum systems. Units are equipped with a USB port and RS-232/RS-485 interfaces.

The Buchi V-700 vacuum pump is a chemically resistant, dual-head PTFE diaphragm pump that is durable and reliable choice for a wide range of laboratory applications. With a flowrate of 1.8m³/hr and an ultimate vacuum of <10mbar, this pump is a powerful oil-free solution eliminating the need to dispose of used pump oil.

All of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
