The Eclipse E400 biological microscope is designed for stability and features a compact design, which was intended to help maintain a suitable comfort level for the microscopist over extended periods of observation. The rigid frame of the E400 helps reduce vibrations while the low-profile stage incorporated into the instrument facilitates specimen manipulation. The stage handle and focus control knobs can be operated with a single hand, freeing the other hand of the microscopist for additional manipulations.

All of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addres sed during testing.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
