This all-in-one Milli-Q Direct 8 Water Purification System delivers both pure [reverse osmosis (RO), Type 3] and ultrapure water directly from tap water at a flow rate of 8 L/hr. The system delivers quality; exceeds the requirements of the most demanding norms; offers convenience; manual and volumetric water dispensing at low and high flow rate; has a low footprint; and allows low running costs.

The 30 L polyethylene (PE) storage tank stores pure (Type 2 and Type 3) water delivered by Elix Essential/Essential UV/Advantage/Reference, Milli-Q Direct, Direct-Q, Direct-Q UV, RiOs, RiOs Essential, AFS D, and AFS Essential water purification systems. It features a vent filter that effectively protects from airborne contaminants; has a smooth inner surface prevents biofilm formation; an aseptic overflow function avoids retro-contamination from the drain; and it has a large top opening that allows manual cleaning during sanitization.

Q-POD Dispenser provides ultrapure water delivery at your fingertips; saves your bench space by removing the arm and dispenser from the Milli-Q Direct system and mounting it on the Q-POD support. Q-POD dispenser key features include variable water flow (slow flow to 2 L/min) controlled by plunger; volumetric water delivery controlled from the Q-POD base; it’s designed to accommodate all sizes of glassware — 250 mL cylinder, 5 L flask or even a 30 L carboy; a graphic display shows the water quality specifications at a glance, and all critical information you need (resistivity, TOC level, alerts, alarms, etc.); and there is a printer connection to instantly record water quality history.

Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
