Applications for the Microfluidics 110T include high-performance micro-mixing of emulsions, dispersions, liposomes, and cell rupture in a variety of industries. Using an air motor, the Microfluidics 110T creates pressure by pushing a smaller piston plunger in the pump. Pressure is intensified when it’s transferred to the reduced area of the smaller plunger. The process stream is then pressurized to a desired level. The process stream is then propelled through a specially designed interaction chamber where fixed microchannels provide and extremely focused interaction zone. The product is accelerated to high velocity and subjected to intense shear, impact, and cavitation, after which the resulting product has very fine particle size with even distribution and uniform deagglomeration.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
