The Thermo Savant SC250EXP is a high capacity SpeedVac concentrator designed for use with aqin 5°C increments ueous and organic solvents. It’s ideal for combinatorial chemistry applications with aggressive solvents and drug discovery applications. The SC250EXP includes four IR heat lamps for drying high-boiling point solvents such as DMSO and DMF. The system features dual vacuum control of “RAMP” and “LEVEL”, which eliminates samples from bumping and freezing. The chamber, vapor path, and pump are all chemical resistant. The heated glass lid reduces drying time and prevents condensation. Other features include an enlarged vacuum port, Kalrez and Teflon coated materials along the entire vapor path for chemical resistance, and a dual valve mechanism for improved durability and exhausting. The Thermo Savant RVT4104 refrigerated vapor trap is a reliable, easy-to-use trap for solvent vapor condensation and collection. The Thermo RVT4104 is a mechanically refrigerated vapor trap that uses a cascade, dual-compressor refrigeration system and displays the trap temperature as well as controlling power to the vacuum pump. Effectively condensing and trapping a wide variety of solvent vapors that can contaminate and degrade vacuum pump oil, the Thermo RVT4104 gives users an easy and safe way to protect high vacuum pumps in vacuum evaporation systems.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.
