The Planer Kryo 560-16 controlled rate freezer is designed for freezing samples in bags and incorporates all of the critical features from a biological freezer. The -180°C low temperature ensures sample integrity during transfer to storage and the flexibility of the system, including protocol stage transition based on sample or chamber temperature or time, is ideal for the more demanding protocols associated with the most advanced cryopreservation techniques. The controller displays demand, sample, and chamber temperatures along with program stage and current temperature graphic. Controlled heating rates from -0.01°C to -50°C/minute. Top opening chamber, forced laminar flow pattern to ensure excellent temperature control.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
