With a small footprint and quiet operation, the Beckman TL-100 is a great option for labs with limited space and budget for an ultracentrifuge and working on virtually any application that requires subjecting small volume samples to high g forces. The Beckman TL-100 features microprocessor control, programmability, and a vacuum encased induction drive. The frequency-controlled brushless direct induction drive gets rotors to speed quickly and holds speed accurately for the duration of the spin run. Temperature range is from 2°C to 40°C and can be set in 1°C increments. Rotors for the TL-100 may be available; please call or email us for more information.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
