The Sorvall Legend RT tabletop centrifuge is compatible with a wide range of rotors and adapters, making it a great choice for both clinical and research environments looking for a durable centrifuge to fill their separation needs. The Sorvall Legend T can accommodate blood collection tubes, conical tubes, flasks, and microtubes. The display panel is ergonomically angled and easy to read with an easy set soft touch keypad and low clearance for loading and unloading rotors. (Rotors sold separately; please call or email for availability and pricing.) The motor is a brushless induction model designed to provide years of virtually maintenance free operation.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned.  If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together. 

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
