The Eppendorf New Brunswick C760 ultralow temperature chest freezer has a temperature range of -50°C to -86°C and 26.8 cubic foot capacity to hold up 57,200 samples. The freezer supports up to 44 racks (not included). The Smart Plus diagnostic system displays error codes that allow accurate diagnosis by engineers over the phone. Security features include a keyed lock and user-defined password protection to restrict access to authorized personnel only. Applications include storage and preservation of chemicals and material testing components, tissues used in research applications, and all types of biological samples including bacteria, cells, spores, pollens, protozoa, blood components, and DNA.

The unit has 80mm-thick walls that combine vacuum-insulated panels with traditional insulation to reduce wall thickness and provide increased capacity over freezers of equal size using traditional insulation. Three insulated sub-lids reduce pull-down and recovery time after the lid is opened. The exterior lid has a gasket to ensure a tight seal that reduces icing and prevents air loss. The inner lids are 10mm thick and have stainless steel trim. A vacuum vent with plunger provides immediate access to the freezer. A heavy-duty, commercial-grade compressor provides rapid pull-down and recovery time after the door is opened. The full stainless steel interior eases cleaning and eliminates the risk of rust forming during maintenance and defrost cycles.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all ultralow freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.
