The Milli-Q Biocell water purification system employs a three-step purification process as well as UV photo-oxidation technology to reduce organics to levels below 5 ppb for optimum chromatographic results and increased column life time. The Milli-Q Biocell generates UV radiation using a powerful (17 Watt) low-pressure mercury vapor lamp, constructed of ultrapure quartz to ensure optimal UV 185 and 254 nm transmission. Stainless steel housing provides maximum UV light reflection for optimum efficiency. The 254 nm wavelength also acts as an effective germicidal treatment maintaining low bacterial levels within the Milli Q Biocell system itself. This system is being sold without filter packs.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run.
