The Panasonic model MCO-19AICUVH-PA CO2 incubator is the right choice for especially sensitive cell cultures by providing two decontamination processes in a single unit. The automatic decontamination process begins with a vaporized H2O2 application followed by UV exposure. The H2O2 application ensures complete decontamination of all interior components and CO2 sampling loop. The UV exposure adds redundant decontamination and reduces the H2O2 to water vapor and oxygen eliminating any user health hazards from the vapor application. This process provides complete sterilization in less than three hours and eliminates the need for autoclaving, minimizing downtime between product cycles. Opening the front access door starts a UV exposure cycle maintaining sterilization within the incubating compartment. The stainless steel interior is copper enriched for even more sterilization redundancy.

Heat application is precisely controlled using three independent heating zones with microprocessor PID control. Operating temperatures are maintained between +5°C above ambient to +50°C with a temperature uniformity of +/- 0.25°C at 37°C. Humidity is maintained at 95% at 37°C using natural evaporation and a water pan. CO2 can be maintained between 0% and 20%, accurate to 0.1%, with a maximum deviation of +/- 0.15% at 37°C and 5% CO2 setting and no load. Volume of the incubating chamber is 6 cubic feet and the unit is stackable.
Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. We test CO2 incubators using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts, as well as using a Fyrite indicator to measure CO2 levels in the chamber. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
