The Pharmacia Biotech GeneQuant II RNA/DNA calculator model 80-2105-98 provides fast and easy measurement of DNA/RNA and protein concentrations. The wavelengths 260 nm and 280 nm are used for quantification and purity checking calculations, whereas 320 nm can be used for background compensation. 230 nm can be used as a guide for protein determination using the peptide bond absorbance. After each sample reading the information is stored and used in calculations until the next reading is taken.

This Gene Quant II is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications.
