Caron’s Wally packs many innovative ideas into novel, compact design. First, its ultra slim profile reduces the dead space found at the back of square shelves, providing almost twice the usable shelf area as conventional square units of the same capacity. All interior space is usable space. This design also saves almost 18” of aisle or hallway space over traditional incubators.

Secondly, GelJacket technology provides water-jacket thermal protection, but with none of the hassle. It uses zero-maintenance technology, with no need to fill, and no worries about leaks. It also allows the incubator to stay about 30°C for nine hours after a power failure, versus one hour or less for a comparable air jacketed unit.

Thirdly, The Wally is incredibly easy to use. It features hands-free door opening (push to open); minimized cleaning effort, courtesy of shallow chamber and HEPA filtered ISO5 quality airflow; smart-glass culture viewing; and simple touchscreen programming, with bold setpoint displays and easy, intuitive breadcrumb-navigation menus.

The glass doors contain PCM (phase change material), which when heated is translucent and the temp is 37°C. If the door glass appears white, then the PCM is cool.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test incubators using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
