The Labconco PuriCare open access transfer station is designed for cage changing and animal transfer applications and provides personnel, animal and environmental protection. HEPA-filtered vertical airflow provides Class 100 clean air in the work area to protect the animals from cross-contamination. The two-sided open access provides ample workspace for one or two operators to transfer animals from dirty cages to clean ones.

Two fluorescent lights illuminate the interior and are accessible from either side for replacement while recessed and angled sashes allow the operator closer, more comfortable viewing without glare. Large 14” (36 cm) high sash openings accommodate rodent cages of various sizes. Knee space allows for comfortable seating from one side. Economical, disposable upper and lower prefilters trap large particles to extend HEPA filter life. The upper prefilters, located atop the enclosure, may be easily replaced from any side. The lower prefilters, located below the work surface, are easily accessible by lifting the work surface. Variable speed motor/ blowers and impellers are designed for low vibration and quiet operation. Speed controls permit adjustment by a qualified technician to prolong filter life. Electric hydraulic lift allows infinite working height adjustment from 36.5" to 45.0" (93 x 114 cm) with the push of a button to accommodate persons of various heights.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test each biosafety cabinet to ensure that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all biosafety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a biosafety cabinet certification in order to ensure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
