The Beckman J2-HC high capacity centrifuge is a versatile, high performance floor model centrifuge designed to work for a wide range of applications. The Beckman J2-HC has a 3L capacity for large volume processing as well as the speed and g-force necessary for many high-speed applications. Includes Beckman’s unique Friction Reduction System (FRS), which is an innovative design allowing for faster acceleration, shorter run times, and more precise control of rotor temperatures, as well as reducing heat output. Additionally, the Becakman J2-HC has safety features that include over temperature shutdown, automatic rotor imbalance detection, an electronic door interlock, and an all-steel chamber with steel barrier ring and steel plate in the chamber door for three levels of physical containment. With simple analog dials for setting speed, time and braking mode, the Beckman J2-HC is easy to learn and operate.

Beckman Coulter J2-HC Specifications

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned.  If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together. 

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
