The Thermolyne MaxiMix II Vortex mixer is a general lab mixer intended for use in applications where vortexing of single or multiple tubes is required, as well as vessels up to 125mLs with closure tops. The MaxiMix II allows users to simultaneously mix the contents of up to four test tubes or small flasks. It features continuous operation and touch-on modes for gentle to vigorous mixing. Recommended applications include, enzymatic and RIA assays, vortexing cell suspensions, drug extractions, atomic absorption sample preparation, and Nelson's assay for reducing sugars.

All of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
