The VWR Performance Series units are purpose-built for scientific and medical applications requiring superior temperature management and state-of-the-art product security and data logging.

The touchscreen temperature display and alarm module offer the latest in advanced temperature control and recording of temperature history, as well as an elite monitoring and alarm system that is 100% independent of a microprocessor temperature controller.

A forced-air directional refrigeration system is employed that provides superior temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings. An automatic cycle-defrost design prevents product damaging temperature spikes stemming from defrost cycles.

Hydrocarbon is a naturally occurring refrigerant ? Zero ozone depletion potential. The advantages of hydrocarbon refrigerants are 45-60% decrease in refrigerant charge size; up to 15% reduction in energy consumption; contains no fluorine or chlorine; short atmospheric life of about 2 weeks; and it’s a less aggressive refrigerant, extending life of the system.

Evolving technology of hydrocarbon refrigerants reduce ozone depletion and energy usage. Thermodynamic properties are superior to both R134a and R404a. Heat retention is approximately 90% greater than R134a and 140% greater than R404a with lower viscosity. They also absorb more heat faster, resulting in quicker temperature recovery and lower energy consumption.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test refrigerators using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all refrigerators thoroughly prior to shipment.
