The Thermo Forma 3920 Refrigerated Reach-in Incubator provides precise temperature control with a range of 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F), adjustable in 0.1°C increments. Its broad temperature range, uniformity, and quick recovery create an optimal test environment, even when handling large product loads or low-output, heat-generating equipment. Features
The Thermo Scientific Directed Airflow System ensures a consistent and stable growth environment. Its enhanced design features a positive pressure feed plenum on the right side and a negative pressure return plenum on the left, ensuring uniform airflow distribution throughout the chamber. This system maintains precise conditions, preventing temperature fluctuations that could affect research results.
Each solid shelf receives a steady flow of conditioned air, even when filled with samples or equipment. Unlike horizontal airflow systems or top-to-bottom airflow systems that rely on a top-mounted fan, this incubator's design directs air across shelf surfaces for improved temperature uniformity and recovery. This advanced system enhances performance, making it a reliable choice for demanding laboratory applications.
The Thermo Forma 3920 includes a temperature controller that displays actual temperatures and ramp and soak setpoints. Its safety features include an over-temperature and under-temperature thermostat with alarm indicators. Additional conveniences include standard access ports for data logging, defrost and refrigeration switches, and an adjustable defrost timer preset for two 15-minute cycles per day. The heated solid door reduces condensation, ensuring clear visibility and maintaining stable conditions inside the chamber.
Testing
The Thermo Forma 3920 is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a digital data logger to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts. If it’s a CO2 incubator, we use a Fyrite indicator to measure CO2 levels in the chamber and confirm the accuracy of the onboard display. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
