Baker Edgegard EG8320 laminar flow clean bench assures product protection and is used in pharmaceutical production, research laboratories, manufacturing facilities, aerospace, bioscience, food processing, hospitals, and other research and production environments.

Clean benches assure product protection by ensuring that work done on the bench is exposed only to HEPA filtered air. The Baker EG8320s motor draws air through the lower front panel and sidewall section slots.
The pre-filter traps dust and large particles, after which the air travels through a HEPA filter at an average velocity of 100 fpm before being directed horizontally across the work surface. We provide filters for all our clean benches, including this Baker EG8320.
The Baker Edgegard EG8320 is very similar to the EG8252 model, with one significant difference: more vertical working room. The Baker EG8320 model offers an additional 6” of clearance in the working area.
Please note that some of the Baker Edgegard EG8230 models may be two 4’ units linked together. The dimensions and all other specifications are the same as for all EG8230 models. However, these linked units require two 4’ HEPA filters instead of one 8’ filter. (In our technicians’ opinions, changing two 4’ filters is actually easier than changing one 8’ filter, so they prefer this set up.)

Testing
Our technicians test each biosafety cabinet and clean bench to ensure that the controls and blower motor work properly, as well as ensuring that the HEPA filter is suitable for use in lab conditions. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of certification in order to ensure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.

In many cases, certification can be completed on the day of or following delivery. Their services include testing, certification, repair, replacement, decontamination, and removal of biosafety cabinets and clean benches.
