With reliable temperature control, the Beckman Allegra X-12R is ideal for cellular research including such applications as general separation and cell harvesting. The microprocessor control display allows you to select from 20 user-defined programs, 10 independent acceleration profiles, time options, and to set up your run by rpm and RCF prompts.

The Allegra X-12R centrifuge uses CFC-free refrigerant and allows a selection of temperature within the range of -10°C to 40°C. It holds temperatures for up to 10 minutes after a run has stopped.

This unit includes the SX4750A ARIES self-balancing swinging bucket rotor, which automatically corrects imbalance in opposing loads up to 50 g and continues to run without shutdown. Centrifuges also accommodate cell culture flask adapters to allow the direct centrifugation of cell culture flasks, which eliminates the transfer step to and from conical tubes for cell separation. This not only saves time and labor but also reduces the chance of contamination.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated, we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
