Thermo Savant SPD1010 SpeedVac concentrator

  • Integrated SpeedVac concentrator
  • -50°C cold trap and vacuum pump
  • Rotors available
  • 90 day warranty

The Thermo Savant SPD1010 is an integrated system that incorporates four components: a concentrator, an oil-free vacuum pump, cold trap, and vacuum gauge. The all-in-one design makes set up and installation easy while the programmable display is intuitive and simple to learn. The ease of use and versatility make the Thermo SPD1010 concentrator a good fit in biomolecular research labs. Supports the rapid, efficient concentration of aqueous and mild organic solvent-based samples in biomolecular research applications. Solvent combinations include acetonitrile, ethanol, methanol, methylene chloride, and water. Digital display shows time, temperature and vacuum. Vacuum control allows for vacuum ramping and ultimate level setting. This optimizes drying times and eliminates bumping of different solvent mixtures. Dual timers allow for independent control of heater and run time.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
