Huber Unistat Tango

  • Model: UC012TW
  • Temperature range: -45°C to 200°C
  • Unistat Controller
  • 90-day warranty

The Unistat Tango has thermodynamic properties and a range of functions to meet the highest demands. Unistat technology guarantees precise, reproducible temperature control results, the shortest possible heating and cooling times and large temperature ranges without the need for fluid change. The pump self-regulates to ensure the best possible circulation and flow and delicate glass reactors are protected from breakage by the pump’s soft start-up feature. Because Unistats are hydraulically sealed, the service life of the temperature control fluid is dramatically increased by preventing oil loss through vapors and oxidation. Unistat Tangos are fitted with extensive safety equipment and are therefore suitable for unsupervised continuous operation. Relevant operating conditions are constantly monitored, and the system is switched off if necessary or with the process safety feature the emergency cooling circuit is activated.

Instead of a temperature control bath on the Tango, you will find the Unistat system for external closed systems only as an expansion vessel with a sight glass. The content of the expansion vessel is not thermoregulated. The vessel does not there for have to be insulated and you will get no oil vapor, oxidation, or moisture absorption at the thermoregulation unit – as in conventional thermostats.

The electronic Unistat control consists of two parts, the control electronics and exchangeable control panel. It is equipped with a non-volatile memory, which can memorize and recall status data, an electronic clock that makes recording in chronological order possible. This makes it possible to activate the programmer at any selected date and time. The controller displays messages, warnings, and disturbances. It is designed so that specific settings will be locked during tempering. And the changing of the minimum – maximum set points is only possible when the circulation is turned off. This avoids accidental adjustment of parameters.

All of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
