Want to know why the Zymark TurboVap LV is awesome? Let’s start with the vortex evaporation system, a patented gas vortex shearing process that increases the speed of evaporation up to ten times compared with other evaporation techniques. A water bath gives the chamber an even temperature distribution while a gas flow is delivered over a set period of time. (Nitrogen is recommended, depending on the application, or oil free compressed air if nitrogen is not suitable/available. See operator’s manual for more detail.) The Zymark TurboVap LV is ideal for sample volumes of 1 mL to 30 mL and can accommodate standard test tubes, conical bottom tubes, GC vials, and microfuge tubes, depending on the rack. (Call or email for availability.) Key applications include forensic and clinical chemistry, food and pharmaceutical laboratories for concentration of solvents following SPE cleanup of drug samples or pesticide extracts, among others. Typical solvents include acetonitrile, ethylacetate, hexane, menthanol, dichloromenthane.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
