The Futura LD Series freezers are designed for a variety of research and clinical applications. These units provide a rigorous temperature control, alarm features and construction features.

These freezers are Energy Star high performance listed and feature cycle defrost; forced draft air circulation; adjustable operating temperature range: -18°C to -25°C (0°F to -13° F); uniformity: +/- 2 to 3 degrees throughout from set point; microprocessor temperature controller; digital temperature display; audible and visual high and low temperature alarms with battery backup; remote alarm contacts; heavy duty door handles; next generation monoblock compressor system (operating sound level 52 dB); hydrocarbon, natural refrigerant (R290); magnetic door gasket for positive seal; locking casters; LED interior lights; and a probe access port (1/2”).

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.
