The Labconco Protector Premier Laboratory Hood, 6' wide, catalog number 10060000010814, feature left and right-sided GFCI duplexes and Labconco's signature one-piece molded fiberglass reinforced polyester liner that provides superior corrosion and chemical resistance and durability. The hood's by-pass block design restricts airflow, allowing the Protector Premier to operate as a reduced air volume (RAV) or variable air volume (VAV) system with no modifications.
Protector Premier Laboratory Hoods incorporate a sleek interior with a molded one-piece fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) liner, the signature feature of Labconco’s leading line of fume hoods since 1961. The one-piece liner of specially-formulated, fiberglass-reinforced polyester offers corrosion and fire resistance and easy clean up. Without seams, the interior has fewer points of deterioration for longer life.
These hoods are suitable for providing personal protection needed for general chemistry applications involving fumes and vapors. They meet the SEFA-1 standard of a low velocity, high performance hood and may be safely operated as low as 60 fpm.
This Labconco 6' wide chemical fume hood is used and reconditioned. Our technicians inspect all fume hoods to make sure that the baffles are present and intact, the interior lights are functioning, and that the sash is intact and runs smoothly on the tracks along with the counterweights.
Please note that we do not sell or provide blower motors with fume hoods. Every fume hood installation has different requirements due to the desired CFM and the distance the air needs to travel to exhaust out of the building. Therefore, you must consult with your HVAC technician for the purchase and installation of a blower motor for your fume hood.
