The Miele PG 8583 Laboratory Glassware Washer includes steam condenser, stainless steel interior and exterior, powder detergent dispenser and liquid acid neutralizer dispensing.

At the time of manufacturing, the PG 8583 Laboratory Glassware washer was the only glassware washer available with the ACT Label. The ACT label, also known as the Environmental Impact Factor (EIF) criteria, ensures that products carrying the label are safe and sustainable.

The Miele PG8583 features the efficient use of resources with a variable speed heater pump; safety through wash pressure and spray arm monitoring; and convenient drying support with EcoDry. At the end of the reprocessing program the machine door opens automatically as soon as the temperature in the wash cabinet has fallen below 158°F, thanks to the AutoOpen function. This allows residual moisture to escape easily from the wash cabinet and the washed items dry more quickly.

The variable-speed heater pump is the heart of Miele Professional's washer-disinfectors and represents a particularly unique selling point. The speed of the pump and thus the wash pressure is adjusted in line with the relevant requirements in the individual program blocks – high pressure facilitates the removal of stubborn soiling, while low pressure guarantees the complete soaking of all the wash items.

Labwashers from Miele achieve optimum reprocessing results in an exceptionally wide range of applications. This is facilitated through the combination of innovative and tried-and-tested characteristics – from perfectly aligned wash pressure, design-optimized baskets and particle filters, through to spray arm monitoring and specific wash programs for all the different areas of application.

Minerals in domestic water can interfere with the cleaning process and cause deposits to form on instruments. Miele thermal disinfectors are fitted ex works with a water softener which removes the bulk of ions from domestic water which cause water hardness. In the case of extremely hard water and in practices using large amounts of instruments, additional complete demineralization may make sound economic sense.

The pressure with which the wash water is passed through the spray arms and the injector nozzles is vital for reliable and economical reprocessing. High pressure facilitates the removal of stubborn stains, while low pressure ensures that the wash items are completely soaked. Washer-disinfectors from Miele Professional combine both advantages with a wash pressure that is tailored to individual needs.

The Miele Professional washer-disinfectors reprocess even demanding batches quickly and reliably. Their high-performance wash technology guarantees that even instruments with a complex design or laboratory glassware can be safely reprocessed at a high wash pressure. In combination with two loading levels and the highly sophisticated controls, seamless work operations are possible, even with a high turnover of instruments.

Thanks to innovative technology, highly developed procedures, and comprehensive system solutions, Miele Professional machines achieve outstanding reprocessing results with minimum consumption of water, energy, and process chemicals.

The wash cabinet is seamlessly welded using laser technology and its smooth joints protect the chamber from the built-up of dirt deposits. Thus, the adhesion of blood or other stains is prevented. An additional level of hygiene is achieved by installing the heating elements outside the wash cabinet.

A variety of factors, such as a faulty basket connection or an excessive build-up of foam, can lead to a reduction in the wash pressure. Monitoring the wash pressure in the washer-disinfector guarantees optimum process operations, so that the machine always produces reliable reprocessing results.

For optimum reprocessing results, the rotation speed of the spray arms must always be within a prescribed interval. Through the contact-free monitoring of all machine and basket spray arms, problems such as the build-up of foam or an obstructing wash item can be detected early on. As a result, spray arm monitoring contributes to the reliable reproduction of the validated reprocessing quality.

Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
