FreeZone 12 Liter Console Freeze Dryers are designed for lyophilizing moderate to large sample loads or numerous small container batches. The console features a front viewing window, and interior space for a vacuum pump. The system removes a maximum of 8 liters of water in 24 hours and features brushed stainless steel and powder-coated steel exterior; stainless steel collector and coil; vacuum control/break valve; rear-mounted RS-232 port; automatic start-up switch for collector cool-down and vacuum pull-down; hot gas defrost and switch; and a retractable collector drain line.

The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 12 liters of ice before defrosting. A single 1 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system cools the collector to -50° C (-58° F), suitable for aqueous samples.

The control panel utilizes the Lyo-Works OS, which provides a real time display of collector temperature, vacuum level, shown on a 5″ full color, capacitive touch screen.

The 14-port manifold comes with neoprene valves with plastic knobs that accommodate both 1/2" and 3/4" adapters for connection of flask. Includes one latching pin. Manifolds are made of type 304 stainless steel and mount atop FreeZone Freeze Dryers.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
