The Mettler Toledo XPR20002L Delta Range Precision Balance delivers exceptional weighing accuracy, high capacity performance, and advanced compliance features for demanding laboratory and industrial environments. Designed for applications requiring both high capacity and fine readability, the XPR20002L offers DeltaRange dual-range technology, providing enhanced resolution at lower weights without sacrificing maximum capacity.
With a maximum capacity of 22,000 g (22 kg) and fine readability down to 0.1 g in the lower range, this advanced precision balance ensures outstanding repeatability, fast stabilization, and full data integrity support. Combined with SmartPan technology and optional LabX software integration, the XPR20002L goes beyond weighing to deliver secure, compliant, and highly efficient workflows.
Thanks to integrated SmartPan technology, the XPR20002L delivers exceptional stability even in challenging environments such as fume hoods or production floors. The optimized pan design significantly reduces the effects of air turbulence, allowing results to stabilize up to twice as fast compared to conventional weighing pans. This improved stability enhances repeatability and reduces measurement variability.
Under standard laboratory conditions, the SmartPan allows certain applications to be performed without a draft shield, streamlining processes and improving ergonomics. In controlled environments like fume cupboards, operators may leave draft shield doors open during weighing, further reducing process steps and improving workflow efficiency.
The Mettler Toledo XPR20002L Delta Range Precision Balance is engineered to improve laboratory productivity through intelligent workflow support. Frequently used weighing methods can be saved directly in the balance’s internal method library, ensuring consistent execution of recurring tasks. Users simply select the stored method to access predefined parameters, minimizing setup time and reducing human error.
The balance features a large, color touchscreen interface that operates similarly to a smartphone, allowing intuitive navigation, swipe gestures, and multi-finger data entry. The display remains responsive even when wearing chemically resistant laboratory gloves.
A built-in results notepad automatically records task parameters and measurement data, eliminating the need for manual transcription. Results can be transferred via USB to a PC or printed directly when connected to compatible peripherals such as printers or barcode readers. These connectivity options allow seamless integration into laboratory data management systems and production environments.
The XPR20002L is designed to meet the highest regulatory standards, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, chemical, and regulated laboratory environments. Immediately after initial setup, the balance begins monitoring critical quality parameters such as leveling, adjustment status, and operational readiness.
The integrated StatusLight indicator provides a clear visual signal showing whether the balance is ready for accurate weighing. This status is recorded with each measurement result, adding an additional layer of process security and traceability.
The optional GWP Approved function actively monitors the safe weighing range, ensuring measurements are performed within validated parameters. Tolerance profiles can be configured to alert users if results fall outside predefined specifications, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.
When paired with Mettler Toledo LabX software, the XPR20002L supports centralized data management, automated QA scheduling, SOP-guided user workflows, and secure audit trails. LabX assists with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance by securely storing all results and process data in a central database, ensuring full traceability and data integrity.
Built for long-term reliability, the XPR20002L features integrated overload protection to safeguard the weighing cell from accidental overload. Its full metal housing and protective covers shield internal components from dust, splashing liquids, and harsh chemicals. Smooth surfaces and rounded edges make cleaning quick and simple, helping maintain laboratory hygiene and performance consistency.

Yes, all equipment from American Instrument Exchange comes with a warranty.
Used/reconditioned/refurbished equipment is tested to make sure it operates to the manufacturer's specifications and comes with a 90-day warranty (unless otherwise noted). New equipment comes with a warranty from the manufacturer.
Testing requirements vary across all the equipment categories we sell. Temperature controlled units are tested with NIST traceable probes and data loggers. Gaskets, external housing, glass, handles, controls and control screens are all thoroughly inspected for integrity and functionality.
We test all equipment using the manufacturer's parameters and specifications to confirm that the unit operates properly.
We can ship products both nationally and internationally using a well-established network of transporters. Smaller items will ship via UPS. Larger equipment will be palletized and shipped either LTL or air-ride, depending on the specific equipment and/or delivery requirements.
American Instrument Exchange will accept the return of any product that is not working as represented and could not be replaced or repaired to the customer's satisfaction during the warranty period. Customers who cancel orders after refurbishing has begun will be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee of between 20% and 40%.
