The Thermo MaxQ3000 shaker design keeps function, reliability and safety in mind. The mechanical timer controls time and speed, adjustable with rotary dials. Analog tachometer displays speed in RPM, verifying accuracy of speed setting.
These shakers are ideally suited for multiple applications, such as general mixing, cell cultures, solubility studies, extraction procedures, diagnostic testing, and many other applications that require shaking. Shakers are reliable in analog or digital operating systems with the choice of three platform sizes, combining ease of use with durability and accuracy.
Platform accepts loads up 50 lb. They operate in temperature ranges of 0° to 40°C (104°F), 20 to 80% non-condensing humidity. They can be used in a variety of incubators, warm rooms, environmental chambers and refrigerators.
Timed studies can be performed with timed operation from one to 60 min. or operate shaker in continuous mode. Digital models have variable speed control from 15 to 500 rpm. They offer continuous and timed operation from 0.1 minutes. to 999 minutes
Speed and operating time can be displayed simultaneously on two individual LED displays. They feature shaker shutdown and audible/visual alarms signal if unit operates ±10% of set speed, preventing shaker from walking. A user-adjustable speed calibration can be performed using a digital handheld tachometer, where verification is required and protocols can be standardized.
The unbalanced load sensor stops platform motion when excess vibration is detected and visual/audible alarms signal until condition is corrected. A soft-start feature eliminates sudden starts and stops, splashing of vessel contents or wetting of flask closure. This retains parameters during power failure and restarts unit automatically after power is restored. An RS232 interface allows remote monitoring of speed and time.
This Thermo MaxQ 3000 shakerr is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications.
While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment.
We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
