AirClean AC760C PowderSafe Enclosure

  • AirClean PowderSafe Type C enclosure
  • 36” wide, 30” deep
  • Polypropylene construction
  • Filters not included
  • 90 day warranty

AirClean Systems Type C PowderSafe enclosures are designed for powder or solvent weighing, manipulation and enclosing weighing equipment. The AC760C has the containment capabilities of a ductless fume hood along with an even laminar flow airstream that allows for accurate weighing. The rear wall of the enclosure is a single filtration zone, allowing for a clean airflow sweep of all particulate and gases. The thermally fused polypropylene construction makes the unit lightweight but durable and chemically resistance for a rust-free working environment. No ductwork is required for set up or installation – this unit can simply be set on a work bench and plugged into a standard 110V/120V electrical outlet. Other features include automatic safety control and a permanent backup HEPA filter, an integrated post-filter brushless, sparkless blower motor, a deep base to contain spills, and low airflow alarm.

The AirClean AC760C has overall dimensions of 36”W x 30”D x 44”H, while the internal work area measures 35”W x 22”D x 25”H. Air is pulled into the hood in an even horizontal laminar flow, carries particulate or vapors back through the hood and away from the user. The contaminated air then flows through the pre-filter, up the back wall of the cabinet, and through the additional HEPA and carbon bonded filters to remove fumes, vapors, or particulate matter.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians inspect all fume hoods to make sure that the baffles are present and intact, the interior lights are functioning, and that the sash is intact and runs smoothly on the tracks along with the counterweights. Please note that we do not provide filters with AirClean ductless fume hoods.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
