The Fisherbrand Double Glass Door Laboratory Refrigerator provides reliable performance for daily use in research, clinical, and industrial laboratories. Designed to store non-critical products such as reagents, media, and proteins, these refrigerators ensure consistent temperature control and optimal storage conditions. Their whisper-quiet operation minimizes noise disruptions, making them suitable for busy lab environments.
Built for energy efficiency, these refrigerators are ENERGY STAR certified and use environmentally friendly, natural refrigerants. The adaptive defrost system helps maintain stable temperatures while reducing energy consumption. Digital controls provide precise temperature adjustments, while alarms for temperature deviations, door ajar events, and power failures—backed by a battery system—offer additional security.
A keyed door lock adds security, while LED interior lighting improves visibility. Additional features include a rear access port, remote alarm contacts, and low heat output, ensuring efficiency and reliability for laboratory applications.
Applications include research and academic laboratories, clinical and hospital labs, pharmaceutical and biotech facilities, industrial and quality control labs. This model is commonly used for storing reagents and buffers, culture media, proteins and kits, and general laboratory supplies.
This Fisherbrand Double Glass Door Laboratory Refrigerator GTFBG49CPGA is used and reconditioned. Before anything else, our technicians test refrigerators using a digital temperature probe to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all refrigerators thoroughly prior to shipment.
Additionally, if you have specific testing requirements or requests, please inform us. We will gladly work with you to ensure these requirements are addressed during testing.

Glass door refrierators can be very handy in a lab environment. Double glass door units like this Fisherbrand model provide full visibility of contents and faster access to specific items, leading to reduced door openings and improved temperature stability. This is especially valuable in high-use lab environments.
This unit is best for non-critical storage. For regulated applications (e.g., vaccines), consider pharmacy-grade or high-performance lab refrigerators with tighter validation and alarm systems.
