Features
Block heaters feature a clear, easily removable polycarbonate lid that helps prevent evaporation and maintain uniform temperatures. Their efficient heating system ensures close tube and block contact, while the low-density design enhances temperature consistency. These features improve sample integrity and overall heating performance. Mini blocks may also be available upon request.
With PID temperature control, block heaters achieve exceptional accuracy, maintaining temperatures within 0.3°C and uniformity within 0.2°C. Samples heat quickly and precisely, with temperature adjustments possible in 0.1°C increments. The intuitive touchpad controls include independent LED displays for temperature and time, ensuring repeatable results. These displays remain visible across lab benches, making monitoring easy.
The built-in timer tracks elapsed time or shuts off the unit when reaching a user-defined limit. Even after power is turned off, the last settings remain displayed. A temperature calibration mode allows users to calibrate the unit to an external temperature device, improving accuracy.
Constructed from a high-quality, heat- and chemical-resistant polymer, the cool-touch housing remains safe during normal operation. In timed mode, an alarm signals when the timer reaches zero and when the set temperature is achieved. Additionally, the heated lid helps regulate temperature and minimizes condensation on sample lids, preserving sample integrity.
Testing
This block heater is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. We will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
