VWR Incubating Orbital Shaker, Model 3500i
Cat. No. 12620-946
Microprocessor control
Opti-flow forced ventilation system
Triple eccentric drive with brushless motor
90-day warranty
The microprocessor control of the Model 3500i provides consistent, uniform mixing action. A spill-resistant touchpad adjusts the temperature in 1 °C increments. For added safety, a ramping feature increases speed to set point, and a built-in load sensor automatically reduces rpm during unbalanced conditions to further prevent spills and protect samples. The brushless motor is designed to handle heavy load, and the spill-resistant design protects internal components from accidental spills and leaks.
The timer displays elapsed time or counts to zero and shuts off the unit when programmed to user-defined limit. An alarm sounds when time reaches zero. The temperature-calibration mode allows the unit to be calibrated to an external temperature device, and the Opti-Flow forced ventilation system uses twin induction fans and air deflectors to deliver temperature uniformity and stability. The Accu-Drive™ Shaking System ensures precise speed control. This system monitors shaking speed and maintains set point even under changing loads.
Most of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
