Thermo Scientific 1377 A2 biosafety cabinets feature advancements in brushless DC motor technology for dramatically improved energy efficiency, safety performance and reliability. These DC motors improvements result in reduced energy costs for your lab, increased reliability, reduced air conditioning costs, and optimized environmental protection. Furthermore, the night-set-back mode saves energy while maintaining a clean work area. When the front sash is closed, the intelligent speed control automatically reduces blower speed to 30%, extending HEPA filter life and ensuring a sterile working environment even when the cabinet is not in use. This reduced flow mode uses 75% more energy efficient than similar features on other biological safety cabinets. The 1300 Series A2 bio cabs employ a unique airflow system that raises safety and containment to a new level. Independent supply and exhaust blowers automate balancing of downflow and inflow/exhaust velocities to ensure continuous safe working conditions.

The Thermo 1377 bio safety cabinet also features a 10” window opening work position. Reduced noise level enhances the attention and allows user to focus on work without distraction while the large, unobstructed work surface increases productivity and safety. The flat, single-piece stainless steel work tray supports ease of cleaning. The armrest sits just above the intake grill to enable farther reach inside the cabinet while maintaining safe airflows.

Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet to insure that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to insure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site..
