Labconco Purifier Axiom Class II Type C1 Biosafety Cabinet
We are very excited to offer the Labconco Purifier Axiom Class II Type C1 Biosafety Cabinet: the world’s first Class II, Type C1 bio safety cabinet. The Labconco Axiom C1 models can be used in recirculating Type A mode for standard microbiological work, or can be connected to an exhaust system to function in Type B mode for handling hazardous chemical vapors or radionuclides.
Type C1 enclosures are for a wide variety of applications that incorporate antineoplastic drugs, genetic material, carcinogens, allergens, or other airborne hazards. The efficient and well-defined airflow pattern over the interior work surface means that the C1 design provides safer and easier operation than traditional biosafety cabinets.

Integral to the design of the Axiom is its work surface. A three-piece design with Chem-Zone dished center encourages the proper technique of organizing your workflow from clean to dirty (a constant challenge in many labs) while the ends of the work surface function as staging areas for procedures and a place to keep supplies and equipment.
The Chem-Zone work surface provides ample area for a single user to perform critical operations while containing spills.
The Labconco Purifier Axiom Series models utilize the Constant Airflow Profile to maintain accurate and precise airflow, the Axiom’s dual ECM blowers actively maintain airflow even during building exhaust failure. Containment is programmable from 0-300 seconds.
Other features of the Axiom C1 design include the Contain-Air Negative Pressure Channel, MyLogic Operating System that controls Smart-Start, user to programming for start up and shut down operations and Night-Smart System for idling the blower when the sash is fully closed.
Built-in interval or elapsed timer for experiment monitoring, fluorescent light or UV light control, a digital clock, and bright, 90-150 footcandle, glare-free fluorescent lighting located outside the contaminated work area.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet to insure that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment.
Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to insure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
